1900 Theater & Strong City Preservation Alliance

It was the vision of the late Collene Slabaugh and the late Doug Jackson. Both were passionate about saving the 1900 Opera House/Auditorium/Theater. Through their efforts a group of people joined together and established the alliance with the main objective to preserve, restore, and protect the environment within Strong City, Kansas. Special emphasis has been placed on the rehabilitation of the Opera House/Auditorium due to the condition of this building.
