The public is welcome – Family friendly.

All Sessions are acoustic instruments except occasional Classic Rock-n-Roll & Vintage Country Night by announcement-when electric are welcome.

Other special events (5th Fridays) may be announced.

Live musical entertainment emanates from Cottonwood Falls the first, third and special fifth Fridays of each month, 7:30-9:30 p.m. If weather permits, join us in the street north of the historic courthouse or inside at Prairie PastTimes up the block, if not. This tradition started in 1999 thanks to Sue and Monty Smith, owners of the Emma Chase Café, and the event is named after their former café. Friday Night Music has grown in popularity to become part of the iconic fabric of the Flint Hills. Jam sessions include bluegrass, country, folk, gospel and old-time rock and roll. All a welcome to join in or just listen.
