Tallgrass Express String Band

With authentic storytelling and high caliber musicianship, Annie Wilson and her Tallgrass Express String Band’s “Songs of the Flint Hills” celebrate local landscape and culture. Named Kansas' Flint Hills Balladeer in 2013, rancher-songwriter Wilson shares her work in the band’s over 100 recordings and in her weekly newspaper column.
Wilson says, “We feel incredibly lucky to live amidst the splendor and
wide open spaces of the Flint Hills tallgrass prairie. Through our music, we celebrate this land
and its people.”
