About the event
Live musical entertainment emanates from Cottonwood Falls every FIRST & THIRD FRIDAY (& FIFTH if there is one) - 7:30-9:30 pm. This Jam Session & Open Mike is for local and visiting musicians who enjoy playing traditional music. It is one of the "8 Wonders of Kansas" customs and is on the Kansas "Bucket List" of attractions. The public is welcome – family-friendly. Admission is free. Donations welcome.
Location: INSIDE at the lovely Prairie PastTimes store of Flint Hills Arts & Crafts – 220 1/2 Broadway. Or, weather permitting, OUTSIDE in front of Symphony in the Flint Hills, 331 Broadway in beautiful downtown Cottonwood Falls near the historic Chase County Courthouse.
All Sessions are with acoustic-only instruments except on specially-announced Classic Rock-n-Roll & Vintage Country Nights when electric instruments are welcome. Other special events such as Western Music Night, Bluegrass Night, Kansas Day Music, and Gospel Night may be announced. Check Facebook…
